ABOUT PABLO
Pablo Duek was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 2001, he decided to explore USA for one month which extended to a trip that has lasted for more than 20 years.
​
His passion and love for music evolved into becoming an experienced and beloved professional Cantor. For the last 35 years, he has served the members of four congregations in Buenos Aires and California.​
​
Pablo is an out of the box guy. Being empathetic, sensitive, fun, and down-to-earth are trademarks of the way he interacts with people. Those qualities inspire him to make each concert, life cycle event, and trip unique and memorable.
​
In 2021, after 20 fruitful years of being the Cantor at Temple Etz Chaim in Thousand Oaks, CA, Pablo created his own project, The Rockin’ Cantor, in which he performs B’nai mitzvah and wedding ceremonies, baby namings and concerts. Now you can also travel with the Rockin’ Cantor!

Pablo has officiated more than 1,000 life cycle events throughout his career. He is an experienced and motivated educator to all ages.
Pablo lives in Simi Valley, California with his wife Julieta and his three children Carmel, Dahlia, and Ilan.

Cantor Pablo gave our wedding just the flare it needed. He was my cantor at my bat mitzvah and I would not have anything less than the best for my wedding officiant.
He led an Havdalah service so joyous that the entire hotel wanted to participate. The ceremony was enchanting, his melodies, kind words, and explanation of the traditions enabled us and our guests to fully enjoy our wedding ceremony. We are so endlessly grateful for his passion, time and dedication. We hope one day to have Pablo at our future children’s simchas.
